DANA AIR RETURNS TO FULL OPERATIONS, INCREASES FLIGHTS

DANA Air has increased its flight frequencies from 18 to 22 daily, starting from December 1, 2010, to offer its customers greater choice and convenience during the Yuletide.
In a statement by the airline, the Chief Executive Officer, Jacky Hathiramani, said: “With all our aircraft now fully operational, we are set to introduce four additional flights on our Lagos-Abuja-Lagos route to meet the growing demands of our guests, especially as we approach the ever-busy Christmas season.”
He added: “In Nigeria, like many other parts of the world, the Christmas season is characterised by an increase in demand for air transport services as people travel from one place to the other to share the joy of the season with family and friends. We recognise this trend that is why we are introducing more flights to cater for our growing number of guests.
“We are relieved to return to full operations and we want to thank all our guests for their patience and understanding during the past few weeks.”
With the introduction of the additional frequencies, Dana Air will now operate 16 flights daily on the Lagos-Abuja-Lagos route, two flights daily on the Lagos-Uyo-Lagos and Abuja-Kano-Abuja routes, and two daily connecting flights between the cities of Uyo and Abuja.
